Those who prefer relaxed holidays and “slow tourism” will feel particularly at home at La Tuque, a campsite with a warm, family atmosphere. La Tuque is synonymous with a human dimension, peace and quiet and the pleasure of playing.
Our campsite extends over a nine-hectare estate, nestling in a wooded valley surrounded by vines, part of the famous Cahors wine region. Set in the midst of nature, it’s the ideal place for a totally relaxing holiday. What’s more, you’ll breathe some of the purest air in Europe! There are no major roads or railway lines in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. In high season, our campsite is car-free. Peace and quiet means distance from amenities. So be prepared to travel a few (10) extra kilometres to do your shopping or to reach the main tourist sites.
In La Tuque, there are no tarmac roads or floodlights. Rest assured, this ‘back to basics’ approach doesn’t mean you’ll be deprived of modern comforts!
The large sanitary block and all the swimming pools have been completely renovated. The trendy lounge terrace welcomes you for a quiet drink! Take some time out for yourself and relax in the hammock under the old oak trees. Armed with a captivating novel from our library, you’re all set for an unforgettable holiday.
As our campsite is on a steep slope, we consider it unsuitable for people with reduced mobility.
